FIRST LOVE FELLOWSHIP IS A CHURCH
of unceasing prayer, intentional discipleship, and missional living.
Support the Mission
“The Lord is Holy, the fellowship is sacred, and the world God loves is in more darkness than ever. If we are to recapture the agenda of the Father, spectator personality driven religion must die, and the slumbering, complacent, prayerless church must now awaken!”  (Pastor Niral)

FLF Gathers in Houses

Picture
We gather in houses with the agenda of unceasing prayer, intentional discipleship, and missional living. We call our weekly gatherings, Family Groups. Through these special weekly gatherings, FLF captures the life and sacred community of the church as a community of healing and restoration. Each of us at FLF have answered the call to abandon spectator religion and take the personal burden to bring the love of Christ to those around us. This is done by taking seriously the idea of being Christ’s disciple, and following His directive to nurture and develop individuals in their walk with God. This includes training and assisting people in active assistance in spiritual growth, and house church planting. We also connect to the larger body of Christ in local missions which reach the world by offering charitable support to those in need.

UNCEASING PRAYER

Picture
“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly” (Acts 4:31). It was not until the early saints prayed that they could do anything for God. It is no different, today. Nothing happens unless it can be birthed from the prayers of men and women who have a passion for the presence of God. It is the primary work of FLF, and will never cease being our most urgent occupation. From this place, miracles can happen. Strong intercession is offered for the nations, the church, and the lost. Prayer meetings happen on a consistent basis in houses, and also in cooperation with like-minded ministries. We are truly being who we are as a church, when we gather together to pray.

INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP

Picture
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have   commanded you (Matthew 28:18-19). FLF believes in intentional discipleship, which is ongoing engagement with others so that they can increase in the fellowship of the Spirit, and knowledge of God’s Word. None of us have arrived to perfection, but we should strive daily to better know the One who saved us. This is the mark of a true disciple. Every co-laborer at FLF is expected to be a committed disciple who disciples others. FLF will teach you how to do just that, and offer resources to help you pour into the lives of others as you and your family join in with the great commission of Jesus.

MISSIONAL LIVING

Picture
If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him” (John 12:26). Missional living is where Christ’s agenda is your agenda. It is a lifestyle where as a follower of Christ, the main concern is to see this lost world, and run to the sound of the pain. FLF consistently brings the hope of the gospel to those experiencing homelessness, sex-trafficking survivors, crisis pregnancy centers, those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol, those who are in transitional seasons in life, and our neighbors. As co-laborers, we are actively engaged in our community, and play a vital role in serving Jesus by tending to the needs of all people. Our goal in missional living is to first, love.

FLF FAITH AND VALUES

Statement of Faith
We join with the church worldwide from the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, to the contemporary church to affirm these beliefs:
  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative written Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ alone is absolutely essential.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Worldview Statement
In joining with the biblically-based convictions of Spirit-filled churches around the world:
  • We believe absolute moral truth exists.
  • We believe the source of moral truth is revealed through the Bible.
  • We believe that the Bible is accurate in all of the principles it teaches.
  • We believe that eternal spiritual salvation cannot be earned.
  • We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life on earth.
  • We believe that every person has a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with others.
  • We believe Satan is a created and living being, not just a symbol of evil.
  • We believe that God is the all-knowing, all-powerful maker of the universe who still rules that creation today.
  • We believe that sexual relationships are to exist exclusively as a loving expression of marital covenant between one biological male and one biological woman.
  • We believe that gender appointments come only from God and cannot be changed by way of cosmetic, chemical or medical means.
  • We believe that as imagers of God, every human life is sacred from conception to physical death.
